With the Girl I Love

My last post before I embark on my mission with Yen (My camera) to the lovely plains of Japan. All these photos were taken 2 weeks ago, and it was a bitch scanning the nice ones, because I developed them into the original picture, not a CD or anything. I'm so sorry these are so wonky, lopsided, off - centre. I suck and have no alignment perception. I suck I know. Thankyou Rosa for the lovely Yashica 35-ME that took these photos. They're beautiful.

I actually really love these two pictures that are jamming this text. The colours and everything make me so happy. Sometimes I thank God that I'm blessed with such amazing friends and people in my life.

Yes, my sheets at boarding school are childish, BUT THEY KEEP ME WARM AND SNUGGLY! And away from monsters that lurk in my room at night time :-{

I actually don't know this dude's name. He's in my grade, but I really don't know his name. I guess it's just my camera's way of saying "HEY! I'll take a really nice photo of him, and you'll have to hang this picture up somewhere and always ponder about his name, and you'll never get it and annoy you!" Oh. Monologues.

I'm still pretty devestated that this year's Year 12 is leaving. I need remedies for this broken part of me. I miss Genvin and Stephen so much still. :(

Two of my favourite girls in the world. I can tell them a lot without them spilling the beans to someone else. Love you both Kelly and Drina. :-)
Anyway, I guess that's it from me before I embark on my flight in 2 days time! I will try blogging over there if I can. I shall take a tonne of pictures and spam you readers and followers even more when I get back! Muahaha! Anyway, I should really go write out some notes to take to Japan now, considering exams are second day back into the term/ end of semester. End of semester exams make me want to hit something. Bad. :(

Sayounara, minnasan! :-)

Wonder, Magic, Spark

.. Sigh. On Thursday it was the Year 12 Final Assembly/Formal / everything. Thankyou to the lovely Asian woman who I asked to be my mother so I could get in undetected, under the radar, and even cross the eagle like senses of all the deputies. I really love the Year 12 this year.. they're so happy all the time. When I first came to Hurlstone, they were all in Year 10. They were my lifesaving instructors, friends and they were all so genuine. I grew close to a few, and got to know a whole lot more. Genvin In, Stephen Pham, Robert Zheng are probably three names I'm going to remember for the rest of my life. Genvin because of his sneaky attire 100% of the time, and his aura of niceness is A-may-zing. Stephen is one I'm going to miss a lot. There's a lot of times where you were just being crazy and outlandish as usual, but at those times where you were nice, you were an incredible friend. Robert Zheng.. our train trips together, our everything together.. :'( :'( Okay.. getting teary. WHY AM I VOMITING MY FEELINGS OUT ON A POST. WAHHHHH. ): Blosia Sun, Julie Nguyen, Lily Chen, Sally Flakelar, Rachel Ayers.. and whole list of others as well. You made my first 3 years of Hurlstone fun, exciting and in the end when I look at it short lived.
I'm actually still really sad. I'm heading for Japan on Monday and I'm still still thinking if I'll ever get to see them again. Especially Ashik. I've only met him recently, but I think he's woven himself into my mind as someone who won't ever get mad. No matter what annoying crap I do, rape him from behind, say hi to him constantly, he'll only smile and say "Hey man, what's up!" He's so nice.. :-( It makes me so sad he's leaving. *cry* I'm pretty sure their year has set the bar high for another grade to copy and make such an impact on my life. Okay, I'll stop talking now. I'll spam you with photos now. I'm going to post one last post before I leave for Japan, and that's going to be the two rolls of film I developed this week.

Thank you so much Year 12. You brought on many Joys in my life. Good luck in the HSC and do the best in all you do in life! Hopefully one day, I'll see you all again.

Believe

I think it's about time I just give up on attempting this stupid History Assignment due Monday. I'm pretty sure Mister Purves is going to gobble me up either way anyway. *sigh*. This week has been fun. My Urban Outfitters package arrived! Oh my.. the brogues inside are so beautiful. As is the Reindeer wallet, and the Feather wrapped cardigan.. Ahh.. They're so beautiful. Except for the fact inside the big carton there was in infestation of Pseudoscorpions. Eesh. They're like 3mmx1mm Tick like things.. But they have claws! Like Crabs! Ahhhh..

I shall feature my new beauties in an upcoming post.. ahh. For now though, enjoy the massive cram/spam/tacham of pictures from this week :-)
Waving my camera around like a lunatic when lights are around is one of the many small things I do in my life to gain the status of "insane".

I also tried dipping chips into a Chocolate sundae.. Er. It's pretty gross. I really don't see how people can clog their arteries with these novelty experiments.. Yuck.

This book caught my eye at Kinokuniya. I was basically frothing over how brilliant every single street style picture was in this thick book of awesome-ness. But then, as I turn over the book, wishing it was within $25 because that's all I had for the day. $39.95 hits me on the face like a slap from an ex-girlfriend. Painful.
I did end up buying it though, thankyou to one of my friends who paid the difference, which I know owe her $15.. Ahh the joy of knowing nice people who I can rely on. You guys are the best! :-)

Breath

Has anyone ever had one of those days, where all you could do was cringe about the fact you've done excessively stupid things within the course of six hours? I had one of those days today. Ruined my first roll of film by doing stupid things, not winding it properly, exposing it to light. I feel like the biggest idiot since the guy who didn't know how to slice bread. IDIOT. AHH.

But besides that, I'm heading to the University of Sydney tomorrow night, and the Univeristy of New South Wales the night after for some le-le-lectures. Woohoo. Yay. I plan on bringing no, not my film camera, but my twenty-first century camera to document the experience. Last time I went, it was Doctor Karl. Oh my, I love that man. It's been a while since I've done a sissy post. Considering I've started putting effort and time into my posts and whatever not.

Oh! My Urban Outfitters package arrived today. I have yet to return home and open the package which is the epitome of sunshine and raibow lollipops. I was meant to do a cover with one of my friends of 'Lucky' by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat but the lectures came up, so I had to pass it up. I will soon though. In the meantime, I am planning and rehearsing my voice for an upcoming cover of "Everything" by Michael Buble.

Brogues that smell like Sunshine

I quite like this above picture. It kinda gives off the impression I'm some kind of mystical being floating around in an Afternoon garden.. the colours are really soft and nice. Ahh.. Sigh. Makes me want to re-live every single afternoon I've ever experienced.
These are the brogues that smell like sunshine. They are new, yet not new. They're older than me actually ! They were my dads that he bought, but he never wore. Turns out he had a black pair with the intricate detail on them, and a yellow pair, which he gave to my uncle millenia ago. Damn you! Now I'm left with these suede white ones which are pretty dandy and amazing. They're Hush Puppies too! :-)
I like the afternoon because of the lighting. The lighting makes my shoes look God like and myself look very radiant and makes me sparkle.. ahh.. the thought of sparkling. Anyway. Another good reason is for the bokeh. Where I live, every single afternoon, the sun passes through the set of trees adjacent to my house, and the bokeh just comes to life and flares my camera into eternal, blissful, damnation.

I've been carrying around the film camera for quite some time this weekend. I have no idea what to name it. I put film in last night, and I'm snap snap snapping every single beautiful thing I can find.. around my house :3 Don't judge me!
Today's 911, so I decided to dress in darker colours in remembrance of those who died during the World Trade Center attacks. Thinking of these things makes me sad. Makes me wonder if I was actually affected by it, what would I do? .. Condolences to all who had tragic losses that day.

Yay! Out of focus for the wins. Playing with focus is one of the many things in life, that makes me chuckle.. like Chuckles the silly Piggy :}
